UX + Service Design

While UX and service can often be mistaken or confused on their differences, we would describe User experience (UX or CX customer experience) those projects aimed at understanding all aspects of users’ interaction with a company. It includes anything the end user comes across — in which deliverables can range from an app, kiosk, website, or a mailer. Think of user experience as the ‘what’ — what users encounter as they interact with a brand.

Service design refers to planning and organizing business resources (people, props, and processes) to deliver the customer experience. Think of service design as the ‘how’ — how the user experience gets created and how the internal parts of the organization align to deliver that experience.

Branding + Editorial Design

Branding design is all about creating a consistent and recognizable "what" – it includes things like logos, colors, and visual elements, tone of voice, personality, values that customers associate with a company. It's what people see and remember when they think about a brand.

Editorial design on the other hand, is the "how" of presenting content. It involves arranging text, images, and other elements in a visually appealing way, like in magazines, newspapers, or websites. Editorial design ensures that the company's content is not only informative but also visually engaging and coherent.

User Research + Workshop Facilitation

User research is the "what" of understanding your audience. It involves methods to learn about users' needs, behaviors, and preferences. It's like peering into the user's world to discover insights that inform the design. Think of it as the groundwork that helps you create designs tailored to your users' expectations.

Workshop facilitation, on the other hand, is the "how" of collaboration. It's about bringing people together, from end users, to intermediary users, to internal collaboration within design teams or stakeholders, with the goal to brainstorm, ideate, and make decisions collectively. Workshop facilitation ensures that the creative and problem-solving process flows smoothly. It's the art of guiding a group to reach productive outcomes and align their efforts effectively.
